As 2019 comes to a close we are not only celebrating the passing of a year but of a decade!

I want all of you to look back over these last 10 years and reflect on your successes. Remember the choices that propelled you to success and put a smile on your face.

Control It!!!

During the holidays what is one thing that’s always out of control? Carbohydrates!!!!!

They are everywhere in over abundance. If you are anything like me, it is really hard to say no too. Not because I have no will power, okay my will power isn’t great but that’s not the point, I hate hurt peoples feelings and my butt has paid the price year after year.

So I’m thrilled about this new product from ItWorks! It’s called Carb Control!!! It helps to block the excess sugar and starches in your meals that your body doesn’t need and that eventually turn into fat!!

How these work is taking one tablet about 30 minutes prior to a snack that will have carbohydrates in it or if you know a meal is going to be carbohydrate heavy to two 30 minutes prior but don’t take more than two in a day.

Now, obviously you don’t want to use this as a catch all. This needs to be used in conjunction with diet and exercise and watch those pounds just go away!!! I’m so excited to try this product. Many others have and are raving about it!!!

Cranberry Keto Dessert

One of the biggest complaints I hear from people on the keto diet is “I can’t have any sweets!!” Which isn’t completely true. You have to be careful what you choose and when, just like anything. Which is why I think this next recipe will be a great hit!

It’s a ridiculously easy to put together cranberry meringue dessert. It’s sweet due to the whipped cream with a tang from the cranberries and for those who want a bite the meringue adds a delicious crunch! Yummy 😋

Affirmations

Fitness and diet can and usually are, the biggest struggles that people face in their lives. They start out at a great pace and then get derailed.

I know, I’ve been one of those people many times over. It’s frustrating and heartbreaking and so many people just give up. We want to be healthy and fit and feel good but… and this is when the list of things that get in our way start piling up. Now I’m not going to talk food right now just fitness. The biggest barrier anybody faces to their fitness goals is THEMSELVES!!

Our minds are capable of giving us the freedom to fly or sink to the bottom of the ocean. We have to be able to conquer our own minds and the best way to do it is daily affirmations.

Start out everyday and I mean EVERY DAY with POSITIVE feedback for you.

and keep telling yourself theses things. You can list 5 or 10 maybe just 3. They can be the same ones everyday or they can change. Just as long as you continue to do them. Your mind will follow what you tell it and soon you will see the changes you have been telling it.

It’s amazing how much we can do when stop getting in our own way.

Fruit Skewers

Now that we’ve had a hearty, carb filled day full of thanks and family togetherness it’s time to think about our waistline, again.

This recipe definitely is was it conscious. It has apples, pears, honey, dash of cinnamon and best of all its grilled!!! Fruit that is grilled?Now that’s just what the doctor ordered!
